De ICL-behandeling is minimaal invasief en wordt wereldwijd steeds vaker gekozen als methode voor zichtcorrectie. Patiënten gaan dezelfde dag naar huis en hervatten meestal hun normale activiteiten binnen 1–2 dagen.
